GRAND BAY - Abby C. Anderson, who had worked as a restaurant manger, died Tuesday in a local hospital after battling leukemia. She was 30. Mrs. Anderson, a lifelong Mobile County resident, lived in Grand Bay. She had managed the Dairy Queen restaurant at Stuckey's in Grand Bay. Survivors include her husband, Darren Anderson of Grand Bay; two daughters, Sarah Anderson and Rachel Anderson of Grand Bay; parents, Sharon and Christopher Cornelius III of Irvington and Sylvia Jones of Grand Bay; two sisters, Suzanne Morrison of Fowl River and Shanon Cornelius of Irvington; two brothers, Christopher C. Cornelius IV of Birmingham and Donavon Barnett of Grand Bay; her paternal grandparents, Bernadette and C.C Cornelius Jr., and Jake and Joan Floyd, all of Irvington; and her maternal grandparents, Robert and Ella Mae Filbert of Theodore. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Serenity Funeral Home, where chapel services are set for 2 p.m. Saturday. Burial will be in Serenity Memorial Gardens.
