FORT MYERS PRESS, March 1, 1931 - Mrs. G. A. Carson died at the Lee Funeral arrangements have not yet been made but the body was being cared for a the Lawrence A. Powell Funeral Home. Mrs. Carson, a resident of Lee County for about 58 years, was well-known here. She leaves four sons, Kennedy of Fort Myers, Sam of LaBelle and Marvin and Adolphus of Immokalee; and five daughters, Mrs. Florence Nedlock of Jacksonville, Mrs. Walter Weekly of Georgia, Mrs. Sam Carlton and Mrs. Floyd Gilbert of Plant City and Mrs. Florence Wilson of Tampa.
