Walter Broker
Lufkin - Funeral services for Walter L. Broker, 80, of 201 Ashworth, Diboll, father of Mrs. Jeanette Woodard of Marshall, were held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Gipson Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Stanley Vodicka officiated and burial was in the Garden of Memories Park.
Mr. Broker was a native of Cuero, born on Oct. 24, 1888 and had loved in Angelina County most of his life. He was a retired employee of Temple Industries in Diboll, He died suddenly Wednesday night. He was a member of the First Methodist Church in Diboll and also a member of its official board.
Other survivors are his wife; another daughter, and seven grandchildren.

Husband of Lucy Mary McKinney, married August 17, 1913 in Angelina County, Texas.
His WWII draft registration shows he was born in Victoria, Texas.
