Born April 18, 1937, Nelsonville, he was the son of the late Eddie and Adrienne Coe Shelton Whitmore Sr.
Graveside funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Conner Cemetery, Buchtel.
No calling hours will be observed.
Arrangements are by Brown Funeral Home, Murray City.

MURRAY CITY - Kenny E. Whitmore Sr., 63, of Murray City, died Tuesday, Oct. 24, 2000, in Murray City.
Born April 18, 1937, in Nelsonville, he was the son of the late Eddie Whitmore Sr. and Adrienne Cox Shelton Whitmore.
He was a 1955 graduate of Nelsonville High School, an Air Force veteran, a member of the Upper Arlington Police Department and Buchtel marshal, and was retired from Yorde Machine Products. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police and Murray City American Legion.
He is survived by daughters and a son-in-law, Kathy and Bob Newman of Buchtel, and Kimberly Whitmore of Murray City; sons and daughters-in-law Kris and Michele Whitmore of Glouster, Kenny Whitmore of Eaton, Kevin and Cindy Whitmore of Burlison, Tenn., Kirk Whitmore of Nelsonville; and Kerry Whitmore of Nelsonville; 13 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; brothers Frank Whitmore of Arizona and Eddie Whitmore Jr.; and sisters Theresa and Diane.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Doris Withem Whitmore; a brother, Willard Orndorf; and grandparents Ira and Minnie Whitmore.
Graveside services will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at Conner Cemetery, Buchtel, with The Rev. J. Gordon Sullivan officiating. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements are by Brown Funeral Home, Murray City.
