Barbara Jean Johnson, 71, of Hodgenville Road in Campbellsville, Ky., died on Sunday, Nov. 3, 2002, in Campbellsville. Daughter of the late Turner Wayne and Annie Mae Deener Wayne, she was born on March 25, 1931 in Taylor County, Ky., and was a member of Mt. Roberts Baptist Church. Johnson was a former employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville. She was married to Hiestand Johnson on May 6, 1948, who survives. Other survivors include two sons, Wayne Johnson and Gary Johnson and his wife, Judy of Campbellsville; two grandsons, Josh Johnson and Jeremy Johnson of Campbellsville; one brother and two sisters, James Edward Wayne and his wife, Lucy, and Pauline Wayne of Campbellsville, and Marjorie Sheets and her husband, Don of Danville, Ky. Funeral was at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 5 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville. Burial was in Brookside Cemetery. The Rev. Jeff Newton officiated. Pallbearers were Ralph Edrington, Edward Hunt, Bob Milby, Paul Smith, Keith Stillwell and Irvin Wright. Honorary pallbearers were Dennis Beams, David Bell, Johnny Harrison, Terry Mardis, Elton Morrison, Robbie Philpott, Fred Russell, Dale Stillwell and Gary Stillwell.
