W.I. Grimes Rites Pending
Funeral services are incomplete for W.I. Grimes, age 86.
Mr Grimes died late Saturday afternoon in a Houston hospital after a long illness. He was born February 16, 1869, in Georgia, and had made his home near Lufkin for almost fifty years. He was a member of the Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons: Carl Grimes of Houston, and Watson Grimes, also of Houston; three daughters: Mrs Willie Harville of Lufkin, Mrs Homer Bryce of Henderson, and Mrs Mims Alexander of Houston; two brothers: J. L. Grimes and Perry Grimes, both of Lufkin.
Funeral arrangements will be announced later by the Gipson Funeral Home.
