Mrs. Augusta Buethner

Augusta Breitzke Buethner passed away after a lingering illness at her home in Hillsboro February 3, 1943.

She was born in Zippnow, Germany, February 8, 1865. She was baptized, received her instructions and was confirmed in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Zippnow.

In 1890 she immagrated to America, locating in Saginow, Mich., where she spent her first year, she came to Millerville, Minn., where she was united in marriage to John Buethner on February 3, 1891.

They came to Trail County and farmed until 1930 when they retired and made their home in this city.

Her husband preceded her in death, September 26, 1936. She leaves to mourn her passing four children, Gust, John, Anna and Alfred, all of this vicinity and six grandchildren.

Funeral services were held in Our Savior's Lutheran Church Saturday with Rev. C. F. Savereide officiating.
