Rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m Thursday at the Cole & Maud Mortuary chapel, 215 S. Washington St., for Mrs. Julia G. Obregon, who died Tuesday at her home. Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Anthony's Catholic Church. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery.

Mrs. Obregon was born Jan. 7, 1903 in San Miguel, New Mexico. She had been a resident of Arizona for 75 years, moving to Casa Grande in 1942. She was a registered midwife and had delivered several thousand babies during her career. She was a member of St. Anthony's Church.

Her husband, David Obregon, preceded her in death in July of 1976.

She is survived by her sons: Robert "Bobby" Obregon, of Casa Grande and David Obregon, of Payson; daughters: Mary Alice Smith and Blanche Armenta, both of Casa Grande, Julia Rodgers, of Chandler, Mary Baughman, of Mesa, Connie Redden, of San Antonio, TX; sisters: Rumada Moreno and Inez Armendariz, both of Los Angeles, CA, and Rose Ignito, of Tucson; 29 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
