Wayne Nelson Monroe, 64, of Haney Drive, died Tuesday, March 9, 2004, in Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Augusta, Ga.
Mr. Monroe served in the Navy and was a planning manager of a textile manufacturing company. He was a member of Laurinburg Christian Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers and three sister.
Mr. Monroe is survived by his wife, Patricia Aylott Monroe of Laurinburg; a son, Dale Monroe of Laurinburg; a daughter, Susan M. Lindsey of Hampton, Ga.; two brothers, Connie Monroe of Jacksonville, Fla., and Gordon Monroe of Hamlet; a sister, Eunice Gardner of Laurinburg; and six grandchildren.
