Delia Beausoleil May 20, 1912 - December 26, 2008 NORWICH/PLAINFIELD - Delia E. Beausoleil, 96, formerly of 85 Norman Rd. (Chase Manor) Norwich beloved wife of the late Severe Beausoleil, died Friday afternoon at Villa Maria Convalescent Home in Plainfield. She was born May 20, 1912 in Warren, Rhode Island a daughter of the late Theophile and Emelda (Blair) Dion. Mrs. Beausoleil had lived in Plainfield for many years, moving to Norwich in 1986. She was employed as a textile worker at the former Baltic Mills, retiring in 1976. Mrs. Beausoleil was a communicant of St. John The Apostle Church while living in Plainfield and a parishioner of Sts. Peter and Paul Church in Norwich. She leaves two sons, Victor W. Beausoleil of Plainfield and Philip G. Beausoleil of Griswold; one daughter, Irene Allen of Gainesville, FL. Numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother and several sisters. The funeral will be held Monday at 9:15 a.m. from Dougherty Bros. Funeral Home, 595 Norwich Rd., Plainfield followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. John The Apostle Church. Burial will follow in St. John Cemetery. Visiting hours are Sunday 6-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. John Church, 10 Railroad Ave., Plainfield, CT. 06374.
