Henry Theo Allen, 67, of Shreveport, died at 4:15 p.m. Thursday, December 29, 1988, at
the Veterans Administration Hospital in Shreveport.

He was a native of Joyce and a U.S. Air Force veteran of World War II and Korea. He was a mechanic.

Services were held at 2:00 p.m. Monday at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with the Rev. Victor Simmons officiating.

Burial followed in the church cemetery under direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Jena.

Survivors include his wife, Elaine Allen of Shreveport; one daughter, Lois Michele Ward of Pollock; four brothers, Oree Allen of Winnfield, J. C. Allen of Georgetown; J. W. Allen of Pollock; and O. K. Allen of Trout; one sister, Vivian Cockerham of Georgetown and three grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Richard S. Cockerham, David Scott, Greg Waxley, Lane Cline, David Allen, and Ronald Luther.
