Frances (Meshaw) Tarte of Aynor, widow of the late Edward M. Tarte died Dec. 18, 1963. Mrs. Tarte was born in Marion County, Jan. 24, 1880, a daughter of the late William A. Meshaw, and Mrs. Catherine Meshaw. She was a member of the Aynor Baptist Church. Her husband died in 1914. Surviving are two sons, Herbert Tarte and Elbert Tarte both of Aynor; two daughters Mrs. Letha Harrelson, Charleston, and Mrs. Henry B. (Edna) Richardson, Conway; a sister Mrs. Hettie Hattaway, Fayetteville NC; 18 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
