Mrs. Florence Gladys Thackerson (1904-1964), 62, died unexpectedly Monday evening in a Palatka hospital. She was a lifelong resident of Fruitland.
She is survived by two sons, Donald and Duane of Fruitland; mother, Mrs. Hazel Saunders of Fruitland; one sister, Mrs. Dorothy Wendel of Welaka.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 3 p.m. at the Beulah Baptist Church in Fruitland. Rev. Henry Magum, pastor, will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
