Born March 30, 1934, in Wyoming, Ill., Stark County, to Ralph and Angela (Waldschmidt) Fulton, she married Norbert Henry "Nobbie" Louis June 7, 1958, at St. Mary's Church in Henry. He survives.
She graduated from Wyoming High and Oehrlein Beauty School in East Peoria. She operated a beauty salon in her home and was a homemaker.
She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Henry and past president of its Altar and Rosary Society. She taught high school CCD classes.
Also surviving are two daughters, Jovonna Louis (David) Kocher of Henry and Jereen Louis (Douglas) Mercer of Putnam; two sons, Fulton Joseph (Jill) Louis and John F. (Wendy) Louis, both of Putnam; four sisters, Veronica (Dean) Heinz of Princeville, Evelyn (James) Stahl of Wyoming, Ill., Mary (Ed) Dennis of Princeton and Ralann (John) Shane of Milford, Conn.; and six grandchildren, Jocelyn Louis, Nathaniel Louis, Brian Kocher, Austin Kocher, Holden Mercer and Nicole Mercer.
She was also preceded in death by her parents and one daughter, Julie Louis Walin.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary's Church, Henry, with Father Thomas Mizeur officiating. Cremation rites will be accorded after the service. Inurnment will be at a later date at Calvary Cemetery in Henry.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at church, where a prayer service will be at 8 p.m.
Memorials may be directed to St. Mary's Church or to the Henry Ambulance Service.
