OBIT-Buffalo News-9/23/1927 Mrs Elizabeth B Toy

Mrs Elizabeth B Toy 88 years old, and mother of the Rev Edward C Toy pastor of Ripley Memorial church died Thursday at the home of her son 460 East Street. She had been ill for some time.
Mrs Toy a life long resident of the city was born in Buffalo October 10, 1839. Her parents were the late Peter and Sarah Cook and she was a member of one of the oldest families of the city. Her husband William Toy died in 1895.
Mrs Toy had been active for many years in the affairs of Ribley Memorial church. She was a former president of the Ladies Aid Society the Highland Park chapter of the W.C.T.U the H.M.S. and the W.F.M. and the W.F.M.S.
She is survived by three sons, William E Toy, the Rev Edward C Toy and Albert G Toy and one daughter Mrs Arthur J Ricketts. Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at the home of the Rev Edward C Toy and later at Ripley Memorial church.
