George was the second child and oldest son of George E. & Rita M. Naughton Felger. His siblings are: Debra, Alan, Pamela Kraus, Connie, Scott, Paul, Paula Kubler, and Tina Freeman. He graduated from East Palestine High School in 1976 and from Mount Union College in Alliance, Ohio in 1980 with a degree in Accounting. After college, he moved to New Orleans and got a job in the accounting department at Tidewater Marine. He loved New Orleans. He told me about a haunted apartment where he once lived in the French Quarter. He told us he had AIDS during a Christmas visit home in 1986. I knew something was wrong by the way he looked. He came home again for our sister's wedding in June of 1987. He looked terrible. AIDS took away his handsome features. I knew when he went back home that I would never see him again. He died in August. We honored his wish to be cremated.
