Thomas L Sims, 63, of 409 Union street, died at noon Tuesday in Billings Hospital, Chicago. He had been ill three months and a patient there about five days.
Born in Willow Hill, Ill., he was married in 1924 to Anna Estes Eldridge, who died ub 1944. He had been a resident here several years and had a furniture store at fourth and Union streets.
Surviving are three step-sons, John Eldridge of Chicago, Everett Eldridge of Lafayette; two brothers. Delbert of Champaign, Ill., and Albert of Toledo, Ill., and a sister, Mrs. Margaret Griffey of Willow Hill, Ill.
The body will be returned to Lafayette.
