She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Harold L. Harris, III; her two sons: Harold L. Harris IV of Holden and Marc A. Harris of Madison, AL; two brothers: Nicholas A. Schuyler of Worcester and Larry E. Schuyler of Oakham; her sisters: Sharlene E. Daley of Dumphries, VA and Sandra Anderson of Alabama; two grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Her brother, Richard B. Schuyler, Jr., predeceased her.
She was born in Worcester, the daughter of Richard and Janet (Wicks) Schuyler and graduated from Woodland Prep and South High School. Mrs. Harris was a title examiner at Taylor Abstract Co. and Bay State Abstract Co. She was a member of All Saints Episcopal Church and was a board member for the Martin Luther King Breakfast. She was a voracious reader and loved to spend time on the Cape.
Doris's funeral service was at All Saints Episcopal Church, 10 Irving St. Interment was in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Contributions may be made to the Martin Luther King Scholarship Fund of Worcester, c/o Susan Laprade, Quinsigamond Community College, 670 West Boylston St., Worcester, MA 01606. Arrangements were under the care of CALLAHAN & FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle St.
