Canalou - Mrs. Rushie Ann Ford, 84 years old, of Canalou died Tuesday in a Sikeston hospital. Mrs. Ford was born March 31, 1885, in Saline County, Ill. lived in Canalou most of her life.
Her husband, Thomas Edward Ford, died Nov. 10, 1953. She was the former Miss Abney. She was a member of the First Baptist Church here.
Surviving are a son, Charlie Ford; two daughters, Mrs. Betty Coffee and Miss Mary Ford; a niece, Mrs. Georgia Christ; two nephews, Jewell Phillips and C. D. Christopher; 11 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at the First Baptist Church in Canalou Friday. Burial will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery in Sikeston.
