She was born Aug. 27, 1928, in Tony to the late Clara (Mechelke) and Charles Hraban, Sr.
Mildred graduated from Tony High School and worked many years at the Audrey's Café, where the Taco Palace is located now.
Mildred and husband Paul Potts traveled around for many years where Paul was working on dams, pipelines, missile silos, etc. After her husband retired, they made their home in Apple Springs, Texas. Mildred had resided in Apple Springs for 20 years. She was a homemaker and worked as a cashier at a restaurant for many years. She was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church.
She is survived by her husband Paul Potts of Apple Springs; her sons and daughter-in-law Paul (Charlotte) Potts of Apple Springs and Joseph Potts of Lumberton; daughters and sons-in-law Yvette (Ron) Gill of Alta Loma, Calif., Faye (John) Nevins of Boise, Idaho, Yvonne Epperson of Thompson Falls, Mont., and Mercedes (Tommy) Carswell of Hudson; 22 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is also survived by her three sisters Pearl (Ken) Wolford of Ohio, Phyllis (Warren) Paul of Oak Creek, and Donna (John) Lincoln of Pewaukee; and her two brothers Walter (Joyce) Hraban and Charles Jr. (Virginia) Hraban both of Ladysmith.
In addition to her parents, Mildred was preceded in death by her son Mark, two sisters Lucille (Walter) Kienest and Frances (Theron) Callaway; her two brothers Richard Hraban and Rudolph (Harriet) Hraban; infant brother Roger; and sister-in-law Virginia Hraban.
A mass of Christian burial was held March 20 at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Apple Springs, Texas, with Fr. Paul Rainville officiating.
