Lowell Kenneth Kerr, 69, of Eagle Point [Oregon], died Tuesday (June 25, 2002) at his home. No service is planned.
He was born April 21, 1933, in Spray in Wheeler County, to Raymond and Helen Kerr. He had lived in the Rogue Valley for more than 40 years. On Sept. 27, 1963, in Reno, Nev., he married Joy Patricia Nunes, who survives.
Mr. Kerr was a road maintenance supervisor at the Bureau of Land Management in Medford and Grants Pass. He retired in 1994 after working 30 years.
He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War.
Mr. Kerr enjoyed hunting, traveling, dogs, and computers.
Survivors, addition to his wife, include two sons, Michael, Bend, and Greg, Portland; and two sisters, Sylvia Kempke, Vancouver, Wash., and Helen Hargrove, Keno. He was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.
