Kim Edwin Allen, age 51, of LaBelle, Fla., passed away April 17, 2007, in LaBelle.

He was born April 1, 1956, in Florence, Ala. He graduated from Bradshaw High School, Florence, Ala., in 1974 and attended Auburn University. He was a longtime resident of LaBelle, Fla., and was owner of Central Mobile Homes of Clewiston since 1992.

Survivors include his wife, Sandra Lee (Cherry) Allen, of LaBelle; son, Joshua Edwin Allen, of LaBelle; daughters, Christine Harrower, of Lehigh Acres, Fla., Katherine Bound, of Decatur, Ala., and Mallory Noelle Allen and Madison Paige Allen, of LaBelle; parents, Edwin H. Allen and Sue E. (Hill) Allen, of Florence, Ala.; sister, Nanette Casteel, of Nashville, Tenn.; grandson, John Mason Moss, of Lehigh Acres, Fla.; and granddaughter, Kinsley Grace Bound, of Decatur, Ala.

Memorial services will be held Friday, April 20, 2007, at 4 p.m. at First Baptist Church, of LaBelle, with Pastor Jeff Perry officiating. A special thanks from Kim's family would like to be given to Dr. Valerie Dyke, Moffit Cancer Center-Tampa, and Hope Hospice for their support during his illness. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Moffitt Cancer Center Foundation,12902 Magnolia Drive, Tampa, Fla., 33612. Please specify on checks donations to colon cancer research.

Cremation arrangements are by Akin-Davis Funeral Home, LaBelle.
