ROSECRANS, Eliza, born 14 Oct 1816 in Pennsylvania; moved with her parents to Terre Haute, Vigo, Indiana about 1819; worked as a milliner in addition to being a homemaker; mother of ten, only four of whom survived her; said to have many warm friends; suffered greatly as an invalid for many years towards the end of her life; died 23 Mar 1880 in Brazil, Clay, Indiana; interment in Old Hill Cemetery in Dick Johnson Township.
