Michael P. Barton, 22, of Maple Ave, Westboro, died at St. Vincent's Hospital in Worcester. He was born in Marlboro, the son of Luke P Barton and Helen Groggin Barton. He graduated from Westboro High School in 1986 and attended Worcester State College.

At the time of his death, Michael left his mother Helen Barton of Westboro; five brothers, Francis P. Barton of Southboro and Geneva, Switzerland, William J and Terrance A Barton of Westboro, Lawrence E Barton of Marlboro, and Edward J Barton of Barre; three sisters, Eileen A Grimley of Grafton, Constance A Adams of Westboro and Nancy Serapiglia of Flemington, NJ; nephews and nieces. Another brother, Daniel D Barton of Westboro, died in 1982.

Mr. Barton was a day manager of Pat's Sunoco in Westboro for five years until his recent illness. He was also a member of St. Luke the Evangelist parish. Memorial contributions were suggested for the Leukemia Society of America.
