Letters to Santa Claus
Dear Santa Claus:
I am a little boy five years old, I want a pistol that shoots corks, a drum, some candy and fruit. I do not want very much as I want you to remember the poor little children in Belguim.

GEORGE RICHARD HUTCHINS
Graveside services for George Richard Hutchins, 82, of Davis were Sept. 2 at Green Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Randy Chapman and Larry Latham officiating. Fox Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Hutchins was born Sept. 3, 1912, at Davis and died Aug. 30, at Pauls Valley General Hospital. His parents were Richard Bawden and Minnie (Cox) Hutchins. He married Virginia Barrow on March 14, 1942, at Sulphur. He was a member of First United Methodist Church and a veteran of World War II.
Hutchins was a retired funeral director and embalmer. He and his family operated Hutchins Funeral Home in Davis and later moved to Bristow where he and his partner, Raymond Maples, owned Hutchins-Maples Funeral Home until 1982. He and his wife moved to Davis in 1982.
Survivors include his wife of Davis; a daughter and son-in-law of Valencia, Calif.; a sister, Dorothy Pettett of Oxnard, Calif.; three brothers, Alford Hutchins of Miami, Joe Hutchins of Bartlesville and R. B. Hutchins of Houston, Texas. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Thamazin Hutchins and Gladys Foster.
