William Earl Reeder, 84 of Belpre, died August 3, 2004 at the St. Joseph Hospital. He was born in Parkersburg on December 31, 1919 and was the son of the late Charles and Lenora Ferrell Reeder. He was a member of the Belpre Nazarene Church. He was a veteran and a member of the Post #15 of the American Legion. He retired from E. I. DuPont following 26 years of service. Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Mary Ruth Coberly Reeder, two sons, Jerry Reeder of Beverly, Ohio, Douglas Reeder and his wife Kathy of Vienna, WV, five grandchildren, Erik, Mark, Jason, Stephen, and Matthew Reeder, a sister Nina Moffitt of Baltimore, Maryland, two brothers, David Reeder of Barberton, Ohio, Jennings Reeder of Washington, WV and several nieces and nephews. His parents, a son James Reeder, and a daughter-in-law, Debbie Reeder, preceded him in death. Services will be held on Friday at 11:00 AM at the Leavitt Funeral Home, Belpre with Pastor Will Neff officiating. Burial will follow in the Rockland Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 5 to 8 PM.
