Funeral services will be Wednesday for Raymond C. H. Hanneman, 72, rural Madison, who died Sunday at Madison Community Hospital. The Rev. Brian Gentz will officiate at the 10 a.m. services in St. John Lutheran Church, and burial will be in Graceland Cemetery.

Parish scripture services will be 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Wetland Funeral Chapel.

Hanneman was born June 16, 1913, on a farm north of Madison. He married Angeline Nelson at Madison Nov. 2, 1947. He was on the board of the DeSmet and Wentworth Farm Mutual Insurance companies. Recently, he was a member of the organ fund committee.

Survivors include his wife, Angeline of rural Madison; two sons, David of Madison, and Dennis of Sioux Falls; a daughter, Mrs. Sandy (Linda) Schultz of Lake Norden; five grandchildren; two brothers, Theodore of Sioux Falls, and Donald of Phoenix, Ariz.; and a sister, Mrs. Harold (Karleen) Froke of Colman.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Lyle; and a son, Russell.

The Weiland Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
