Donald Lewis Kinder was Mary Elizabeth Gregory's firstborn son. He was given up for adoption when he was 4 1/2 years old due to circumstances of the times. I am sure it was very hard for her to do this. It was what she felt was best for him at the time.

Donald was in the Navy when his mother passed away and the birth families relatives tried to get a hold of him and let him know. But his adopted Mother would not let them contact him. His Mother died on her 39th Birthday from Leukemia.

He was reunited with all of his half brothers and sisters when he was 60 years old (There were 9 of them, 8 still living at the time) so he was able to spend 17 years of visits and family gatherings with them.

Donald passed away in 2003 so I am sure he is having a reunion with his Mother in Heaven.

Thank you Mary for giving life to my beloved Donald, whom I would never have met and married if it were not for you.
MAY YOU REST IN SWEET ETERNAL PEACE DEAR MOTHER.
Esther Kinder

He was 60 when he found out about his Mother's death and where she was buried. He also found out that she had died from Luekemia on her 39th Birthday.

THANKS TO DON'S HALF BROTHER FLOYD INLAY FOR THE PICTURE OF HIS MOTHER. IT IS THE ONLY ONE THAT WE KNOW OF.

GRAVER GUY GAVE US A TREASURE. THE HENRY GREGORY FAMILY PICTURE MARY ELIZABETH IS IN THE BACK ROW FAR LEFT SIDE. THANK YOU SIR:
