She was raised in Benton County and married Oren Oliver Long on Dec. 18, 1935. She was a member of the Brightwater United Methodist Church and the Brightwater Home Extension Club. During World War II she worked on Catalina Flying Boats.
She was preceded in death by her husband. parents, five brothers and three sisters.
She is survived by her son, Wayne Long of Little Rock.
A celebration of her life will be held from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday at Callison-Lough Funeral Home in Rogers.
