OBITUARY

Mrs. Lizzie J. Nash passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. C. J. Lamoreaux, at Dunseith on Thursday, April 16, 1931, at 4:45 p.m.
In November, 1895, she was united in marriage to Merton James Nash. Two children were born to this union, J. Merton Nash, now of Knox and Olive Louise Nash, now Mrs. C. J. Lamoreaux of Dunseith.

At the time of their marriage, Mr. Nash was conducting a hotel in Rugby, in which business they continued for a time, later moving to their farm near Barton. They lived on the farm until in 1904 when they moved into the village of Barton. Mr. Nash passed away November 2, 1919, following a short illness of pneumonia.

Since that time, Mrs. Nash has spent part of the time at the home of her son and part at the home of her daughter.

She had been in ill health for several years following a storke. At various times during the past winter, her condition had been quite serious and death was not unexpected.

Surviving Mrs. Nash are her son and daughter, two grandsons, Neil and Lyle Nash, a sister, Mrs. Lena Larson of Arnegard, and two brothers, Ole Tolsby of Barton and Anton Tolsby of Portland, ND.
Funeral services were held at Barton on Monday and were largely attended. The services were conducted by Rev. Thomesen.
