Mrs. Margaret Genevieve COOK, 78, of Hobbs, passed away, Wednesday, June 25, 2003, in Hobbs.
She was born on April 20, 1925, in Hunt County, Texas, to Haskell Charles "Pop" and Cleo Elwood Conder.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Mary Maxine Dennis and Opal Prather; and three brothers, Billy Joe, Ralph Elwood and Raymond Vincent Conder.
She is survived by her husband, Lynn of Hobbs; a daughter, Carroll Jean Leatherwood of Clovis; two sons, Charlie Barnes of Calahan, Colo., and Monte Cook of Carlsbad; four brothers, Jerry Conder of Reno, Nev., Don Lee Conder of Lubbock, Robert Olin Conder and Roy Lee Conder, both of Terrell, Texas; eight grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
