Funeral services for Pose Woody, 93, of Potato Farm Road, who passed away April 17, 1998, were held April 19 from the chapel of Bilbrey Funeral Home, with burial in Woody Cemetery.
He was born July 2, 1904, in Cumberland County, the son of Carter and Nancy Shellito Woody.
Mr. Woody was a truck driver for Ragland and Potter Company and of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Lois and Roy Woody of Crossville; sons and daughters-in-law, Kenneth and Ledell Woody and Leon and Janie Woody, all of Crossville; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and sister, Carrie Woody of Crossville.
Pallbearers were Jackie Thomas, Glenn Wyatt, Harry Woody, Ron Hall, James Wyatt, Bob Brendel and Ray Bowman.
The Revs. Joseph Cox and Jerome McCoy officiated, with special music by April Goliher.
Bilbrey Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
