A resident and native of Plaquemine, and a homemaker, she died Tuesday, June 16, 2009, surrounded by her family. She was 72. Visiting at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Plaquemine, on Friday, June 19, from 9:30 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at noon, celebrated by the Rev. Cleo Milano and Seminarian Matthew Mccaughey. A rosary will be prayed at 10:30 a.m. by the Catholic Daughters. Entombment in Grace Memorial Park. She is survived by her husband, Donald J. David Sr.; three daughters, Mary Kim Fowler and husband Larry Dean, Vickie Lynn Seneca and husband Joel Dean, Robin Elizabeth Thibodeaux and husband Mark; a son, Donald Joseph David Jr. and wife Tara Saizon; a sister, Audrey Blanchard Dellucci; eight grandchildren, Crystal, April, Jeremy, Nicole, Tiffany, Breanna, Kaitlin and Connor; and three great-grandchildren, Ethan, Addison and Landon. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Paul and Nan Adam Blanchard; and a son, Dale Anthony David. She was a member of Women of Moose and Catholic Daughters of America. She lived a full life enjoying camping, bowling, going to the casino and most of all, spending time with her grandchildren.
