Pearl V. Winslow of 2444 West 11th Street, who lived most of his life in Colorado, died Monday evening, Feb. 26, at Weld County General Hospital. He was 78. Born in Bertrand, Neb., Aug 26, 1894, he came to Colorado with his parents in 1900. He served in the U. S. Army during World War I, and married Florence Coffman in Brighton on Feb. 5, 1924. He farmed in the La Salle community until 1961 when he retired and moved to Brighton. They returned to Greeley last October.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, Mrs. Florence Winslow, are three daughters, Mrs. H. D. (Bernice) Mead and Mrs. Jack (Marian) Smallwood both of Cheyenne, Wyo., and Mrs. George (Lois) Meier of LaSalle; seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Also surviving is one sister Mrs. Mary McKenney of La Mesa, California. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, in the Macy Allnutt Drawing Room. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
