Mr. Alf Anderson and Mrs. H. A. Edgmon were married in Hop Robinson's restaurant on Tuesday afternoon at 1 o'clock. Both are well known people who live a few miles west of town. Squire Dickinson performed the ceremony.

Alf Anderson Dies in Ringling

Funeral services for Alf Anderson, long time resident of this vicinity, will be held Friday afternoon, the hour not stated.

Mr. Anderson, aged 83 years, died at 7:45 this morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs. J. A. Clure, in Ringling, where he had been staying. He had been ill for some time.

Burial will be in Green Hill cemetery beside his wife. The Bahners have charge of arrangements.

Services Friday For Alf Anderson

Services for Alfred (Alf) Anderson, 83, retired farmer and resident of Murray county for half a century, were held at the Baptist church here Friday at 3 p.m. Rev. Victor E. Jones of Ringling conducted the service. Death occurred Thursday morning in the home of his daughter at Ringling.

Born in Tennessee Feb. 2, 1867, Mr. Anderson came to Davis in 1900. He farmed west of Davis for 35 years, quitting the farm about 16 years ago. He became ill last Sunday. Burial was in Green Hill cemetery, Davis.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. J. A. Clure, Ringling; one son, Carl, Madill; three brothers, Polk, Duncan; George, Tishomingo, and Bill of Davis, and three grandchildren.
