She was a lifelong resident of Bacon County and was a homemaker. She was a member of Campground United Methodist Church and attended First Community Church. She was married to the late Danny Aubrey Stone.
SURVIVORS: her husband, William R. Spillers of Alma; a son, Buddy Stone of Hazlehurst; four daughters, Audrey M. Turner of Athens, Carolyn Ryles, Sherry Streat and Judy Brigman, all of Alma; a brother, O.K. Tanner of Alma; a sister, Eloise Williamson of Alma; 12 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
