Debra Lynn Bowman Remick, 49, of rural West Burlington, died at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 17, 2009, at her home.
Born May 2, 1960, in Burlington, she was the daughter of Jack and Patricia Breuer. On Sept. 17, 1984, she married Mark Eugene Bowman Sr. They divorced.
Mrs. Remick was assistant manager of Kum & Go on Main Street, a housekeeper at Best Western Pzazz, and worked at Team Addition in Florida and Kum & Go in Morning Sun. She was Christian. She enjoyed bingo, gardening, going to the beach in Florida and yard sales.
Survivors include two sons, Terry Garmoe of Burlington and Mark Bowman Jr. of West Burlington; six grandchildren; two sisters, Chris Dorsey of Fort Madison and Dawn Jeffrey of West Burlington; and three brothers, Rich McKinney of Braidwood, Ill., Rickie McKinney of Iowa City and Tim McKinney.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be from noon to 8 p.m. Sunday at Lunning Chapel where family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m.
The funeral for Mrs. Remick will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Lunning Chapel. Burial will be in Prairie Grove Cemetery.
A memorial has been established.
