Frances Eloise Cade Hoecker, 96, of Jacksonville, died June 18, 2009, at Passavant Area Hospital. She was born April 27, 1913, in Murrayville, the daughter of Harry and Mae McCarty Cade. She married John "Jack" Hoecker in 1937 in Jacksonville, and he preceded her in death in 1985.
She is survived by one son, Robert (wife, Barbara) Hoecker of Danville; one daughter, Malinda (husband, Nelson) Capitano of Springfield; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
She graduated from Murrayville High School in 1932 and received a degree in Nursing from Our Saviour's Nursing School in 1936. She was a member of Church of Our Saviour, Salvation Army Auxiliary and Our Saviour's Nurses Alumni.
Services were entrusted to Buchanan and Cody Funeral Home of Jacksonville, Illinois.
