John Dietrich Johnson, 70, died at the Lutheran Old People's
home on the Burlington road at 8:30 Sunday morning after an
illness of one week with heart disease and resulting complications.
He was born in Germany, Dec. 4, 1859, and had been at the home
since, Oct. 28, 1926. He never married and there are no near
relatives surviving. Funeral services will be conducted
at 10 o'clock Tuesday morning at the Lutheran home
by the Rev. S. Loeb, pastor of the Lutheran church at Atallssa.
Burial will be in the home cemetery. The Wittich Funeral home
Is in charge of arrangements.
