Mrs. Manning was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church and formerly worked as a Religious Special Education Teacher at St. Patrick's Catholic School. She worked at the Pioneer Insurance Company and was a recipient of a Kidney transplant 10 years ago, eventually passing away from other complications. She was preceded in death by her parents; and sister Diana Schaible. Surviving - are her husband of 37 years, William "Bill" of Portland; daughter, Colleen Manning of Portland; son, Kurt (Kelly Gilbert) Manning of Lansing; Stepmother, Frances Eaton of Williamston; sisters,
Louella Eaton of Lansing, Carolyn (Gary) Pelton of San Jose, CA, and Fredrica Eaton of San Jose, CA; step-brothers, Wilfred (Patsy) Gaffner and Milo (Pam) Gaffner, all of Williamston; brother-in-law Al Schaible of Lansing; mother-in- law, Gertrude Manning; brothers-in-law, Dick (Janice) Manning and Jack (Laurel) Manning; sisters-in-law, Sharon Jean Wright and Jayne (Michael) Huhn; numerous nieces and nephews. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by the Rev.
