L.E. Parish, 69, of Macclenny died June 14, 2009. L.E. was born in Malone, FL to the late Dan Parish and Effie Mae Fears Parish on June 28, 1939. He retired in 2001 after 40 years employment as an insulator with the Asbestos Workers Local #13 in Jacksonville. L.E. was a resident of Baker County since 1959 and a member of Taylor Church. He loved spending time with his family, fishing, gardening, riding in his truck visiting people, grilling and cooking out. Above all those things, he loved being around and doing for people. He was predeceased by brother Hubert Parish.

Survivors include wife of 33 years Carolyn Parish of Macclenny; children Cindy (Dwight) Davis of Sanderson, Lindy (Skip) Richardson of Glen St. Mary, Lee (Trenia) Parish of Macclenny and Christie Parish of Jacksonville; brothers Dural Parish, Earl Parish, Sam Parish, Alex Robinson and Clinton Robinson; sisters Verna Johnson, Allie Shiver and Louise Williams: 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.



The funeral service was held June 17 at 10:00 am at his church with Pastors Mark Woods & Jim Cox officiating. Interment followed at Taylor Cemetery. V. Todd Ferreira Funeral Services was in charge of arrangements.
