He was born Feb. 18, 1954, in Quinter to Clarence and Loretta (Schwarz) Bollig. He was an electronic repairman and member of St. Anthony Catholic Church, St. Peter.
Survivors include his father and stepmother, Clarence and Agnes Bollig; two brothers, Richard, Ellis and Wayne, Olathe; two sisters, Susan Knoll, Washburn, Mo., and Jo Ann Bollig, Hays.
He was preceded in death by his mother.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the St. Anthony Catholic Church, St. Peter, with Father Basil Torrez officiating; burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Schmitt Funeral Home, WaKeeney, with a prayer vigil at 7 p.m. Memorials are suggested to the church.
