Hill City -- Mrs. Catherine Knoll, 85, a resident of the St. Peter, Kan., community, died today in the Trego-Lemke Memorial Hospital, WaKeeney.

Her husband, Mike, preceded her in death in December, 1964.

Survivors include seven sons, John of Penokee, Andrew and Mike Jr, both of Collyer, Wendelin and Adolph, both of Denver, Colo., Raymond of San Diego, Calif., and Joe of New Cambria, Kan.; five daughters, Mrs. Anton (Ann) Rome of Denver, Colo., Mrs. W. A. (Salome) Schreiner of Topeka, Mrs. Mike (Regina) Grier of Estacada, Ore., Mrs. Leo (Lidia) Candee of Portland, Ore., and Mrs. Paul (Helen) Degan of Vancouver, Wash.; five sisters, Mrs. Clara Billinger of Morland, Kan., Mrs. Barbara Schambrger, also of Morland, Miss Julia Riedel of Victoria, Mrs. Lidwina Schreiner of Topeka and Mrs. Beata Dreiling of Morland; 33 grandchildren and 42 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mrs. Knoll will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Anthony Church, St. Peter, Kan. Fr. Alex Leiker C.P.P.S. sill officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The rosary will be said at 8:30 p.m. Friday in the Community Hall, St. Peter, Kan. The body will lie in state at the Community Hall in St. Peter after 6 p.m. Thursday and until the time of the service. Spencer Chapel is in charge.
