Joseph Marion Szymanski, age 51 of Pensacola passed away Sunday, January 21, 2007 at a local hospital after a courageous battle with Mesothelioma, an asbestos related cancer. Mr. Szymanski was a member of Little Flower Catholic Church. Joe was retired from the U.S. Navy with 20 years of service.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Phyllis Szymanski.

He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Jeanann Szymanski, his four sons, Michael Szymanski (Joyce), Kenneth Szymanski (Melissa), Jonathan Szymanski and Joseph Szymanski; five grandchildren, Jezzamay, Marcus, Jeffery, Jon Ryan and Kennidi; his father, George J. Szymanski; his two sisters and four brothers. Numerous neices, nephews, other relative and many friends.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 9:30 a.m., Friday, January 26, 2007 at Little Flower Catholic Church with Father Eugene Casserely officiating. Interment will follow at Barrancas National Cemetery with Military Honors.
