Mary Eleanor Crohkhite, 79, of Riverview, Fla., and formerly of Rockville died at 4:35 a.m. Thursday in Village of Brandon Nursing Home at Brandon, Fla. She was a homemaker. She was born Feb. 8, 1907, in Bloomingdale to Bonner Swaim and Pearl Yow Swaim. Survivors include her husband, Kenneth "Ted" Crohkhite; three daughters, Esther Freshour of Brandon, Eleanor Pence of Chesterfield and Martha Pygman of Mooresville; one sister, Helen Price of Elkhart; 11 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. She was a member of First United Methodist Church at Rockville. Graveside services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Monday in Memory Garden Cemetery, with Rev. Henry N. Oakes Jr. officiating. There is no visitation. Butler Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
