Friends may call at the Morse Funeral Home, 12 East Main St., Canton, PA, Saturday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held there Sunday at 2 p.m. with Rev. Ralph Knight officiating, burial in Windfall Cemetery. Survived by daughter, Mrs. Donald Bruce of Troy, PA; sons, Frank Sturgis of Lincoln University, PA, Leo Sturgis of Oxford, PA, Allyn Sturgis, Homestead, FL; half-sisters, Mrs. Roy Goodman of Elmira, NY, Mrs. Juanita Fuller of Canton, PA; half-brother, Seth Havens of FL; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews. He was born May 4, 1898 in LeRoy Township, Bradford County the son of Colton and Marion Loomis Sturgis. He was a retired farmer.
