Requiem Mass Held Tues. For John Weinberger

John Weinberger, 74, of 512 Reagan, died Sunday morning in West Community Hospital.

Rosary was recited at 8 p.m. at the Kotch Funeral Home Chapel in West. Requiem mass was celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church of the Assumption in West, Rev. Earl Hedberg was celebrant. Burial was in St. Martin’s Cemetery in Tours.

Mr. Weinberger was born in Tours and had lived in the Tours-West area all his life. He was a retired textile worker, working for about 20 years at the West Cotton Mill. He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church of the Assumption and the St. Martin’s Society at Tours. He was also a member of the Rosary Society.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Josephine Weinberger; a daughter, Miss Mary Weinberger of West; and six brothers, Albert Weinberger, Julius Weinberger, Alphonse Weinberger, and Willie Weinberger, all of Route 2, West, Alois Weinberger of West and Frank Weinberger of Dallas.

Pallbearers were Herbert Weinberger, Raymond Weinberger, Isadore Weinberger, Raymond Wachsmann, John Wachsmann and Freddie Ochoa.
