Pioneer of Tours Community Dies

Mrs. Pauline Weinberger, age 61, passed away at the family home near Tours at 2 a.m. Monday, following an extended illness. Funeral services were held first at the A. J. Weinberger home here at 8 a.m. Wednesday, followed by a second service at St. Martin's Catholic Church at Tours at 8:30 o'clock, Rev. George J. Duda officiating. Interment was in St. Martin's cemetery, Tours. Pall bearers were: Charlie Miller, Leo Miller, Albert Holzer, Joe Filer, Joe Dulock and John Wolf.

Mrs. Weinberger was born in Austria, her parents moving to the United States when she was two years of age. Settling in the Tours community, deceased had resided in this section for the past 59 years. She was well known in this vicinity and leaves a host of relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

Surviving are the husband, Albert Weinberger, 7 sons, John, Willie, Frank, Albert Jr., Julius, Alphonse, all of Tours, and Alouis Weinberger of this city; 4 sisters, Mrs. Julius Filer, Tours, Mrs. Joe Hofbauer, Muenster, Mrs. John Smith, Gainesville, and Mrs. Alex Wolf, Tours; one brother, Will Wonke, San Antonio; 9 grandchildren.
