Mrs. Farragut Dies
Mrs. Mary Juanita Farragut, 62, widow of L. J. Farragut, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. O. E. Bemus, Saturday at Houston, Texas. She had been in ill health for the past year. She was a member of the Episcopal Church. Surviving her are three daughters and six sons, Mrs. R. P. Walker, Mrs. O. E. Bemus and Mrs. Jack Allday Pascagoula; Chester, Edward and Kenneth Farragut of Moss Point; Adam Farragut of Savannah, Ga.; Wallace Farragut of New York, and Floyd Farragut of Houston, Tex.; seventeen grandchildren. The funeral was held yesterday at 3 o'clock from the Fails Funeral home with services by Rev. E. G. Maxted, Episcopal minister, and interment in the Macpelah cemetery. The pallbearers were George Farragut Jr., Vinson Ruta, Lawrence Gager, Jack Allday, James Craig and Tommy Johnson.
