BIGG FATT CATT, yes that was his name. He came to us when my aunt no longer wanted to care for him so of course, we took him in and he's been part of the family ever since.

He was the type of catt that didn't ever fuss or ask you for anything, not even food or treats. You just automatically gave those to him.

Over the years we found out exactly what kind of cat he was. He was a mix between a coon and a Himalayen breed, Coon is what gave him his big large frame and Himalayan gave him that long gorgeous black fur. But little by little it was hard to comb him so eventually his fur matted, which didn't matter to us because he was beautiful regardless.

On Monday, June 22, my partner took BFC to the vet because for the last few days he was very lethargic and we worried. I was told by the vet that he had congestive heart failure but with the proper medication, we might be able to pull him out of this slump. So I took him home and when I reached my garage he started to MEOW very loudly, which is unusual for him. So I ran to his side of the car and he looked and just (according to the vet) had a massive heart attack and went quickly. This has really devestated me to say the least.

That same day I took him to Hinsdale Animal Cemetary and returned the following day to view him and have him cremated. My partner and I would like to thank the staff at Hinsdale Animal Cemetary for thier gracious and very professional care of our beloved Bigg Fatt Catt. His memory will live on forever. And his ashes will be scattered in our back yard at a later date under our cherry willow.

He will be missed for sure. Please, if you have a pet, show them affection, thats all they really want.

Thank you to Sheila White Hughs for sponsoring Bigg Fatt Catt.
